Brush Vintage is a fully responsive one-page website using HTML, SCSS, and a touch of jQuery.
Developed using a PSD mockup, I was tasked with making the design decisions for the non-desktop versions of the site. I decided to omit the counter banner and limit the number of blog posts and portfolio pieces shown on the tablet and mobile versions, in an effort to de-clutter the design and make it more user-friendly.
One challenge was deciding how to layout the 3×2 grid of Services for mobile users. I ultimately created an accordion that would display more information upon clicking the heading. This was my first attempt at writing my own jQuery code, and it turned out to be a great success. You can read more about how I went about it in my Medium post.
